Prof Maria de Fátima Andrade

is working in the area of urban pollution and atmospheric aerosols. She is the coordinator of the “Laboratory for Analysis of Atmospheric Process (LAPAt)”. The LAPAt is involved in the description of emission, transformation and removal process of atmospheric constituents, and has capabilities of analyzing solid and liquid samples by means of X-Ray Fluorescence and ion chromatography. She coordinates projects with funding from São Paulo and Brazil Science Foundations, with a focus on urban areas in Brazil. She has advised more than 40 masters and PhD students.
