Yang Zhang

is a Professor in the Department of Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences at North Carolina State University (NCSU), Raleigh, NC. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and a B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. Her research interests include air pollution modeling and assessment, atmospheric chemistry and transport, cloud/aerosol chemistry and microphysics, sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, interactions among chemistry, meteorology, and climate change, impacts of climate extremes on air quality and public health, and earth system modeling.
